Three Popular SERVPRO Nashville Blogs from 2016 Part 2
1/6/2017 (Permalink)
And we’re back! We hope you enjoyed last week’s look at three of our popular blogs from last year. This week we finish up looking back with three more blogs. Again, it was an honor to serve so many of you in 2016 and we look forward to continuing that service in 2017!
Now onto the posts!
1) SERVPRO of Belle Meade Celebrates 10 Years of Service to Nashville
Last August was special for this franchise as we celebrated 10 years of service to the great city of Nashville. The origin of SERVPRO of Belle Meade is 99% divine intervention and 1% "right place at the right time," as one of owner Rob Dixon's closest friends brought up the idea during a dinner conversation! The rest is history and a self-described rollercoaster of a journey that is only trending upwards.
The SERVPRO brand has a special significance for Dixon as well. His roots in Gallatin also house the SERVPRO international headquarters. The support his franchise receives from corporate team members and fellow SERVPRO managers mirror what his team hopes Nashville feels. Rob loves the sense of togetherness in the Nashville community.
2) Rush Back to The Gold Rush in Nashville!
This was one of our favorite blogs of last year for many reasons. We used our amazing deodorization process to help the company make a huge change!
The Gold Rush Restaurant and Bar is legendary in Nashville. The popular dive makes its way onto plenty of "Top 10" and "Must See" lists in Nashville. Their fantastic bean rolls keep the kitchen humming until late into the night. The establishment is often the place to be after a musical performance at the neighboring Exit/In. Since 1974, the bar has been a staple of the Nashville nightlife, but another staple of The Gold Rush is its status as one of the few bars that still allow smoking inside. Well, that status has changed forever thanks to SERVPRO of Belle Meade.
Recently, SERVPRO turned one of the last bastions of smoking in Music City into a non-smoking business. Overnight. Yes, you read right. Forty two years of cigarette smoke and its dingy residue vanished into much thinner air in one night. The air ducts received a serious cleaning as well. Now, lungs everywhere can breathe easier while gulping down more bean rolls.
3) SERVPRO Supports the 9/11 Nashville Stair Climb
Last year marked the third year that SERVPRO was a sponsor of the memorial event and we are proud to be a part of such a respectful tribute. The Nashville 9/11 Memorial Stair Climb is an emotional and grueling day as we remember the sacrifices that were made and the families that were left behind.
We at SERVPRO stand firmly with all firefighters and the men and women who dedicate their lives to protecting our communities. We can never repay all of the selfless acts performed, so we hope that in this small way, we can say “thank you.”
Thanks for taking a short trip down recent memory lane with us! We look forward to making an even better and bigger impact for the city of Nashville in 2017!
