The Institute of Inspection Cleaning and Restoration Certification, better known by the acronym IICRC, is a non-profit organization serving the cleaning and restoration industries. Their board of directors makes it their mission to establish the criteria and certifications for the restoration industry. According to their website, over 47,000 technicians have received IICRC-affiliated certifications. Several of our SERVPRO teammates are proud to be a part of that statistic! We leverage this certification in our work through our high-quality training and professionalism. Below are some examples of our team's rigorous training and other salient points you should know about our SERVPRO team's expertise. 

From Start To Finish: What Does The SERVPRO Team's Training Period Look Like?

When you contact SERVPRO, have faith that you're in good hands! We have adequate training and robust web learning resources for our team to study independently. Making it "Like it never even happened" doesn't happen overnight, and we're happy to share how we do it!

• We start with Initial Franchise Training, a hands-on, 15 days course that sets the tone for the SERVPRO training program. This program covers fire restoration, mold mitigation, and everything in between! This course is primarily for new Franchise owners. 
• From the initial training period, our employees have to take Certification Training, a voluntary program that employees can take at their own pace. Modules over fire restoration, water restoration, crew training, and carpet and upholstery cleaning will be tested after successfully completing course materials. 
• Along with continuous education courses and eLearnings, we provide regular IICRC industry certification courses on water, fire, and mold restoration, as well as other cleaning and restoration courses. 

What Types Of Technicians Are Part Of The SERVPRO Team?
